A global pharmaceutical/biotech company is looking for an Environmental Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a multi-site role (all in California), where you will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and excellence at the sites as well as leading the site's ISO 14001 certification process.The Role: Organize, implement, and audit the corporate environmental programs and strategy at the plant, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standardsLead and manage the ISO 14001 certification process for the sitePrepare and coordinate all environmental permits, reports, and related requirements for the regional facilities - Air, Waste, Water, etc.Complete environmental site inspections and audits providing recommendations and ensuring follow-up on corrective actions.Keep informed of existing and upcoming environmental regulations that may affect operational facilitiesAct as the point of contact and subject matter expert for both regulatory agencies and operational teams The Candidate: B.S. in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field6+ years of California Environmental regulatory compliance knowledgeDemonstrated experience leading ISO 14001 certificationExcellent leadership and communication skills, able to interface with employees at all levels of the organization
