I have worked in the recruiting profession for 5 years, 4 of those years with another agency specializing in accounting and finance and 1 year with Shirley Parsons.

HSE Manager

$130k - 160k per year + 12% bonus target

A global chemical manufacturing company is looking to appoint an HSES Manager to oversee the EHS function at one of their key locations in the East St. Louis, Illinois area. The HSES Manager will be a key part of the site leadership team and will be the EHS subject matter expert for this location. The successful candidate will be tasked with fostering and influencing a positive, proactive EHS culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage employees across the facility. The Role: Acts as a change-agent, influencing plant employees and management to drive the EHS performance.Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests and submissions for the region.Accountable for managing site EHS documentation, writing and implementing EHS policies.Leads site audits, training and investigations, recommending corrective actions where necessary, and risk assessments. The Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.7+ years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing (or related) environment.5+ years of management/supervisory responsibility.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a positive EHS culture within a manufacturing plant, and tangible evidence of improving plant-level EHS performance and culture.Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.Certified Safety Professional, and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred.Experience working with Union workforce preferred.

Electrical & Construction Safety Manager

$130k - 160k per year + Travel reimbursement

A global, industrial manufacturer is currently seeking an Electrical & Construction Safety Manager to lead the Safety functions across 6 locations in the U.S. & Canada for one its key divisions.The Electrical & Construction Safety Manager will work directly with the Division EHS Director to manage & oversee the Safety programs of mobile workforces located in Texas, Georgia, Washington, Florida, & Canada. Interested candidates will need a track record as a Project Manager or Construction Manager working on raised power lines & underground transmission lines, conduit installations, and electrical safety projects. The client in question is ideally seeking a permanent hire who can grow with the business and become a long-term appointment.The Role: Maintaining Regulatory Compliance programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Interprets electrical plans and directs field crews to put work in place per quotes, plans, specs and electrical code.Work closely with clients during all phases of the projects, as well as maintaining a close relationship with the client after the project is completed.Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with the client and the rest of the Project Management team.Partner with field leaders to understand and execute work according to customer schedules. Evaluate changes in the project which may impact the project schedule, adjust tasks, and remove constraints. The Candidate: 8+ years Construction Management experience within electrical utilities B.S. degree in Safety-related fieldExperience managing multiple projects & mobile work forces.Experience in client management, material coordination, crew supervision, and cost oversight.Track record of delivering contracts, budgets, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and material procurement.Passion for safety imperative. *This is a Remote-based role*
