Bilingual Health & Safety Representative

$90k - 120k per year + car allow. & relo. asst.


One of  North America's largest aggregates, cement, and construction materials company is looking for a Bilingual Regional Health & Safety Specialist to join their team based in either Miami, FL or Ft. Myers, FL.  Covering multiple sites in the Southern Florida area, this person will be responsible for leading safety performance across all their facilities - ensuring a commitment towards safety excellence across all operational teams. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader, where you will be given every platform to succeed in the role.*This role can be based in either Miami, FL or Ft. Myers, FL* The Role: Provide H&S support and expertise to site management to help drive H&S performance and competencies.Implement long-term H&S strategy and promote a proactive, behavior-based approach to Safety.Monitor changes to all H&S regulations pertaining to their region.Accountable for managing site H&S documentation to include program design, H&S data collection and posting, training documentation, and KPI reports.Support all locations in ensuring compliance with local and federal regulatory requirements.Ensure company remains compliant and informed of industry regulatory changes when it comes to bodies such as OSHA & MSHA  The Candidate: 3+ years of Safety experience within an industrial environment; mining, heavy manufacturing, construction (or similar) preferable.Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred (but not required)Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.Ability to manage multiple activities and work independently.Hands-on approach, able to work in a field role that requires travel from site to site.Ability to travel throughout the East LA/Inland Empire region to support various sites as needed.*Must be fluent in both English and Spanish*

Regional EHS Director

$130k - 160k per year + 15% bonus, LTI bonus


A global, industry-leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Regional EHS Director to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable organization, with a proactive EHS strategy, and also offers potential for future advancement.Reporting directly into the Global EHS Director, this role will be responsible for a network of 7 manufacturing plants. This role will involve 30-40% travel throughout the United States, and can be located from any of the following sites: Cleveland, OHPittsburgh, PADallas, TXBirmingham, ALRichmond, KYBowling Green, KYKankakee, IL The Role: Providing strategic EHS leadership throughout multiple, PSM-regulated manufacturing facilities in this region – driving continuous improvement to EHS programs and performance, and ensuring the implementation of strategic EHS goals at these locationsProviding mentoring, coaching and guidance to site-level EHS professionals throughout the regionDriving risk reduction and employee engagement strategies throughout the region; lead and participate in EHS audits throughout the region, and aid sites in developing corrective action plans; drive the ongoing implementation of company EHS management systems throughout the regionEnsure all sites are compliant with federal, state and local regulatory requirements relating to all areas of EH&S, including for Process Safety Management The Candidate: 10+ years of relevant EHS experience, within industrial manufacturing environmentsExperience required with multi-site EHS management, with previous supervisory experienceDemonstrated experience and success overseeing PSM-regulated facilitiesExperience with OSHA VPP implementation and recertification would be very desirableBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health or similar related fieldCertifications such as CSP, CIH and CHMM would be preferred
