Description
A large construction company is seeking a Bilingual Field Safety Advisor to join their EHS team within their Montreal locations. The successful candidate will be tasked with influencing a healthy environmental culture, leading investigations on multiple sites, and working with project leadership and employees to implement a strong health and safety program.
The Role:
Influences Site, Field Team, Production, Operations, Maintenance, and Management to drive Safety performance and results.
Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests, and submissions for the region.
Monitor daily operation
Accountable for managing site Safety documentation to include program design, EHS data collection and posting, training documentation, and Safety KPI reports.
Working in the field with employees to ensure safety programs and policies are met
The Candidate:
5+ years of Construction Safety experience
Project and Field experience is highly desirable
Bilingual in French and English
Solid experience with WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Asbestos
Willing to travel across Montreal
