CARB Compliance Leader

Description

An environmental and engineering services consultancy located in Southern California is looking to add to its team of expert regulatory compliance scientists. The CARB (California Air Resource Board) Compliance Leader will be tasked with working with the commercial fleet operations, OEMs, EPA, CARB, and ARB to ensure all clients are not only complying but exceeding compliance standards. Candidate must have Air Quality experience from California.

The Role:

  • Preparing compliance templates, collecting data from clients, and advising on corrective action where needed
  • Developing cost-effective and strategic compliance strategies and plans to present to client
  • Developing streamlined reporting to improve reporting strategies with the regulatory agencies
  • Collaborating on the Air Quality team to fulfill regulatory compliance services for clients


The Candidate:

  • BS Degree (engineering or science related)
  • 5-15+ years of air quality experience
  • Experienced in air permitting and regulations, including; CARB; Title V, NSR/PSD, NAAQ, AQMD
  • Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Multisite or corporate experience interfacing with regional stakeholders.
