CEQA Project Manager

Description

A rapidly expanding, Environmental consulting company is seeking a CEQA Project Manager near Los Angeles, CA to assist with providing technical direction and accurate completion of projects assigned to them.  This company has a wide variety of clients, and is seeking well-established consulting professionals to work closely with the leadership team to assure the quality of work expected by the clients is within the budget and schedule.

The Role:

  • Arranges to make proposals in conjunction with senior management in regard to CEQA/NEPA regulations
  • Prepares proposal estimates of time and expense and participates in the presentation to clients
  • Preparing MND/EIR/EA/EIS analyses, reports, and chapters (preferably in a consulting environment)
  • Works closely with clients during all phases of the projects, as well as maintaining a close relationship with the client after the project is completed
  • Determines major project design decisions in conjunction with the client

 The Candidate:

  • 8+ years’ of relevant EHS consulting experience
  • Experience with environmental permitting and auditing
  • Engineering degree or B.S. degree
  • Professional certification (PE, PG, AEP, CEA, CESCO, etc.) is preferred, but not required
