Description
A leading global distribution company is looking for a Senior EHS Administrator to oversee its EHS program for multiple distribution and warehouse locations across North America. Based out of one of their three main hubs (Dallas TX, Louisville KY, or Richmond VA), the Administrator will be the subject matter expert, tasked with implementing EHS programs, leading audits and training, and overseeing organizational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for all its distribution sites across the U.S.
The Role:
Continuously improve the common operating systems and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporate EHS programs.
Work with the corporate EHS team in relation to its' auditing program through individual site location visits and independent compliance audits.
Develop appropriate strategy deployment process, with supporting analytics for collating and tracking key performance indicators.
Ensure that targeted, timely, and effective EHS training is delivered to key stakeholders and local site leaders
The Candidate:
Bachelor’s Degree in EHS/Science/Engineering or a related technical field preferred
5+ years' experience in the EHS field within a distribution, retail, or warehousing environment
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
Be able to travel to different hubs regularly to build relationships and be the face of EHS for the organization
