A leading proppant and logistics company operating in the Permian Basin is looking for a Senior Safety Specialist to join their team. Based out of Kermit, TX  - you would be responsible for providing safety leadership for two plant locations. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader, with a commitment toward safety, where you will be given the platform to flourish in the role.

The Role:

• Promote a proactive safety culture for both job site locations, with heavy focus on employee engagement towards the corporate safety program

• Undertake safety inspections, incident investigations and audits as deemed necessary

• Lead safety meetings and site-specific safety training for all employees in the Permian Basin

• Ensure the facility remains compliant with both local and federal regulatory bodies e.g. OSHA 

The Candidate:

• Possess at a 3-5 years hands on safety experience within either a proppant production, oil field services or similar environment

• Bachelors Degree in Safety, Environmental or related discipline (prefered)

• Proven experience working alongside regulatory bodies such as OSHA or MSHA

• Strong communicator who is able to effectively engage with key internal and external stakeholders across all business levels

• Local to the Permian Basin (West TX area) and able to travel as required (circa. 10%)
