Description

An international consulting company is looking for a Senior Manager of Safety & Regulatory at their facility in Mississauga, ON. The incumbent will be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs and ensuring that the client's needs meet or exceed all customer and regulatory requirements.

The role:

• Work collaboratively to guide clients on matters related to food ingredients compliance

• Expertise in FDA food safety frameworks

• Work directly with clients to author submission documents

• Successfully bring GRAS and novel food ingredients to market on time and on budget

The candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Science, toxicology, or molecular biology

• Ph.D. preferred 

• 5+ years of consulting with experience in regulatory science as related to food manufacturing

• Hands-on approach, able to engage with employees and clients at all levels

• Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong technical foundation
