Quality Assurance Manager

Description

A chemical manufacturing company in the Concord, CA area is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its facility. The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the entire Quality Assurance function at the site, including the development and maintenance of quality programs and procedures, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards.

The Role:

  • Participate in the overall planning and oversight of the Quality Management System
  • Manage quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory activities.
  • Serve as ISO and quality management representative at the site.
  • Manage customer and 3rd party audits and visits.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, or a related degree/science.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Management
  • Proven ability to manage a Quality Control lab in a manufacturing facility 
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to engage with employees at all levels.
