We're seeking a Safety Director for a dynamic transportation company. This is an onsite role based at the company's site in Lenexa, KS. Reporting to the CEO, this position will oversee safety and compliance programs, training, and ensure overall safety performance.

The Role:

• Enforce safety standards and procedures, conduct thorough investigations, and provide strategic solutions to mitigate risks.
• Manage direct reports and advise senior management on strategic execution and proactive measures to maintain a strong safety record.
• Maintain FMCSA/DOT regulations and systems.
• Build relationships with drivers and office staff, gaining respect and understanding of safety concerns.

The Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of FMCSA/DOT regulations
• Comfortable leading a small team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a creative, proactive, and strategic mindset
