Description
A global manufacturing company is currently seeking an EHS Manager to lead the EHS functions across a facility in the St. Louis, MO area. The EHS Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and permits, ensuring compliance with company standards. The successful candidate will be expected to serve as a communication link between management and employees by keeping all personnel informed of EHS related matters.
The Role:
- Interact with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Ensure all processes are in compliance with OSHA and EPA rules and regulations
- Responsible for all EHS-related auditing, permitting and record keeping
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact in respect to all EHS matters for the sites
The Candidate:
- B.S. degree in Safety Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of technical EHS experience
- Chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience required
- Knowledgeable of OSHA and EPA regulations
- Excellent leadership, organization and communication skills
